Hahko Meets Mazbou Q

Community is everything.

I was first introduced to Mazbou Q through Poynton Studios, where Producer Benji once showed me a great video / song called ‘Icon Status’ that had been shot in Studio A weeks before. Since then his instagram remix series started dominating my algorithm. I saw someone doing more with their music career than just music, something that I hold very dear.

I reached out and we landed on the couch to discover large areas of common connection and big ideas. We talk about learning to give up control and the importance of teams, how his musical background in punk / metalcore informs the live Mazbou Q shows & discuss the legitimacy of radio gatekeepers in New Zealand.
