Hahko Meets Ian ‘Blink’ Jorgensen

Blink is a kind of mythical creature.

As someone interested in, but on the outside of the Camp A Low Hum scene of the late 2000’s / early 2010’s I was in awe of the world he built and the community that existed around him & his events. Camp was the annual pilgrimage of the alternative music religion, and a breeding ground for incredible art & artists.

From Left to Right: Hahko, Ian ‘Blink’ Jorgensen

All of it the vision of Blink, the deciding of set times / locations on vibes, not popularity. The lack of lineup announcements, creating a pseudo-bible of a booklet handed to you at the gates where the music you are about to experience is revealed. Sublime.

In this episode, Blink explains the importance of community in everything he has done, including running the venue Puppies, touring bands through the world & his current work with NZ audio company Synthstrom Audible, the creators of the Deluge
