Joy, love and laughter float on the surface of Jon ready to be engaged at a moment’s notice, with all roads leading to the most human of destinations, connection.
While this podcast is:
1. An excuse for me to make friends,
2. An attempt to steal secrets from musicians, it’s also
3. An opportunity to learn how to be more human from other humans, and this was that kind of episode for me.
I feel more human this week than last, thanks to Jon.
Our conversation was meandering & entertaining, contemplative & silly. Among many destinations along the journey, our discussion of NZ culture and Tall Poppy Syndrome as described by a self-described outsider was particularly interesting and enlightening for myself. We also touch on the power of musical harmony, struggle with the idea of home, discuss urban planning, taking your clothes off in the forest and the con-artists of Illuminate festival.
It was beautiful getting to spend this hour with Jon, he is one of those people that whenever it’s time to leave I wish we had more time, no matter how long the time had been, and that was true of this moment together as well. We will have him back. But for now enjoy, Hahko Meets Jon Lemmon!
