On the podcast this week is PollyHill,

I was blown away by the latest releases from PollyHill, ‘Sweepstake’ & ‘Chilly’, and they have both been on personal high rotation. The combination of the menacing, off-kilter production, unique voice and sardonic humour combine for a singular vision of hip-hop at its outer regions.

Sitting down with PollyHill was just as much an experience, equal parts charming & vulnerable, it felt like a fortuitous time to talk, hearing an artist on the crest of a wave after a huge year, unafraid to talk about the up’s and downs, and starting to catch a view of what might be coming next.

We talk about how getting into music felt inevitable, how a chance encounter with Odisee sparked her into action, finding your tribe & how important one small message of appreciation can be for an artist.
