Hahko Meets Green Grove
I’ve had a slow burn love-affair with Green Grove for years.
The music intrigued me, I had stumbled into a gig and become transfixed by an ambling but intentional mood, layers upon layers vibe and the occasional robot morphed voice. I was caught between different states, off balance and enjoying myself. It was an artistic experience I found so enjoyable I had to buy the tee.
Today’s podcast was an extension of that mood, with added humanity and a whole lot of connection. We covered a bit of history including his first band New Gum Sarn and the hectic lifestyle of bartending and gig playing all in one night at the same venue, and lifted the lid of inspiration for the Green Grove sound. We also talk about connecting to nature and looking after yourself, beaches v lakes and discuss how we connect through music and the ways or settings that might help us on the way.
